We are linking the expertise between research and practice in the field for an enhanced integrated approach to innovation and quality development in education.
Activities
- Contribution to the recognition (formal and social) of non-formal and informal learning
- Education for active and democratic citizenship, intercultural learning
- Innovation in non formal education: training methodologies, methods and other resources
- Training for trainers within context of adult education as well as youth work
- Creating the dialogue between the triangles: participants – trainers – institutions; research – practice – policy.
- Contributing to the development of terminology and quality standards in Non – formal education
Current activities

- UNIQUE has been invited as an expert into a consortium of mainly universities to implement a project called "Introduction and implementation of an academic program in Community Youth Work through enhancing interregional cooperation in the countries of Western Balkans" funded under the TEMPUS program of the European Union. UNIQUE's role will be mainly with on the one hand the training of staff teaching within the academic program as well as with running some specific modules of the course. It will start at the beginning of 2010 and last for 2 years. Follow us for news on this interesting engagement of UNIQUE in the academic field.
